Knowledge Test
$40 per attempt (cash or card only)
Before your appointment:
- Create or log in to your License eXpress account:

Click here for step-by-step instructions to set up a License Express Account! - Arrive 10-15 minutes early.
- Bring your License eXpress username and password.
- Bring a valid photo ID (permit, WA ID, school ID, passport, etc.).
Note: If your ID does not show your WDL number, bring your WDL number with you.
Test Options
- Use your own phone, tablet, or computer.
- A device can be provided if needed.
- Headphones are optional for the read-aloud feature.
Skills- Drive Test
$70 per attempt (cash or card only)
- Available in our vehicle or yours.
- By appointment only, same day often available.
- Approximately 25 minutes long.
- Knowledge and drive tests may be taken before your 16th birthday.
Using Your Own Vehicle?
Please make sure your vehicle has:
- Valid insurance
- Current registration
- Working lights and turn signals
- Functioning emergency brake
- Working seat belts
- Front and rear license plates with current tabs
- No windshield damage in the driver’s view
- Tires that meet state tread requirements
- Working windshield wipers and defroster
